Who are we?

Mediterranean Girls in Music (MGIM) is a multilingual platform and magazine dedicated to empowering women in the music industry, with a particular focus on the Mediterranean region. We offer a wide range of content, including interviews, articles and news, all aimed at highlighting the stories of those working in the music industry and promoting gender equality within the sector, as well as singers. While the platform includes everyone, it places a special emphasis on amplifying the voices and experiences of women in music.

The idea behind the project...

MGIM was born from Mediterranean women in the music industry and related fields with the intention of spreading the stories of professionals in this fied.

The need for more women in the sector has been expressed many times in the media. Furthermore, the Mediterranean area has a rich musical heritage that is sometimes overshadowed by larger markets

For this reason, even if we write about everyone regardless of their gender and location, the blog has a focus on Mediterranean women with the aim of highlighting their value and the local market.

Thanks to MGIM, industry professionals and singers from Mediterranean countries (and not only) will have the opportunity to tell their stories and be an inspiration for future generations.
