Demi Lovato releases new album It's Not That Deep

Demi Lovato released her new album It's Not That Deep. This is like a new era for the singer, and it is characterized by electronic music charged with confidence and fun.

It’s Not That Deep stands apart from the concepts and moods of previous albums, presenting a striking shift in musical direction. The voice, usually the emotional core of Demi's work, floats over powerful production built on synthetic beats and glassy textures instead of guitars and deep tones. The result feels cold and hypnotic, made for crowded rooms where rhythm plays an important part. It feels like an attempt to escape every version of the artist that came before. The production makes the project ready for the dance floor. And the voice matches perfetly this vibe.

The album was anticipated by singles Fast, Here All Night and Kiss which introduced this transformation and foreshadowed the metallic world Demi now inhabits. Together with the other songs, they define a record that pushes against expectation and finds beauty in confusion.

The album experiments with both sound and lyrics. On the surface it may feel like the complete opposite of Demi’s previous music. Yet fans who have followed the singer from the beginning know that this side of Demi has always existed and that lectronic elements have always been part of the artist’s palette.  Those who remember Neon Lights and Unbroken (the track, not the album) will recognize this spark: the thrill of pulsating synths and party energy reimagined in a darker, more experimental context.

Demi sounds restless, searching for freedom inside repetition, for identity inside rhythm. And does it so good. With her talent, she could literally sing everything!
