Back in March 2025, Kesha announced her new album, simply titled “.” (point), which will drop on July 4th, a date packed with meaning as it’s her first release as an independent artist.
Everything we know about Kesha's new album
The singles that set the tone for this new era are JOYRIDE. and DELUSIONAL., which came out last year. These tracks gave a glimpse into Kesha’s evolving sound: a mix of bold confidence and raw emotion. Just this March, she surprised us with YIPPEE-KI-YAY, a fun and unexpected country-pop collab with T-Pain which showed she’s ready to experiment and break boundaries.
This album screams INDEPENDENCE. After years of fighting for her freedom, Kesha is finally taking the reins — and it feels like she’s never sounded more herself. After spending over a decade signed to a major label and battling legal battles that stretched on for years, she finally built her own label, Kesha Records, and now runs it alongside partners Crush Music and ADA. She’s calling all the shots, creatively and professionally, and it shines through in the music.
The tracks on “.” will reveal all the different sides of Kesha — from fierce and playful to vulnerable and deeply personal. It will be about reclaiming joy, freedom and authenticity. If you loved her collaborations with Charli XCX and Reneé Rapp, this record will probably feel like an extension of that spirit of female empowerment and creative sisterhood. Speaking of inspiration, Kesha said she's been a huge fan of Lady Gaga’s Mayhem album.
