Miley Cyrus released Dream as One, the song created for the upcoming movie Avatar: Fire and Ash.
She co-wrote the track with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, who also produced it alongside contributions from Jonathan Wilson, Simon Franglen, Brandon Bost and others.
The song arrives ahead of the film’s U.S. release on December 19, with the official soundtrack, featuring Franglen’s score, hitting stores on December 12.
Dream as One carries deep personal weight for Miley. She lost her Malibu home in the 2018 Woolsey Fire and described the song as a form of “musical medicine” that made her transform that experience into something redemptive.
Her dedication to the project is clear. She watched the film, immersed herself in its world, and brought that attention to her performance. The power of her voice is well known to her fans, who, whether familiar with the Avatar movies or not, are already loving the tune and showing their support. Miley’s ability to fully commit to her projects is evident, and even though the movie has yet to be released, we’re confident her performance will carry listeners straight to the heart of the story. She is always amazing!
